My husband is a Marine, my father was a marine who passed in 2019 on Memorial Day and my brother is a marine. I have volunteered at the Rocky Hill medical facility for 10 years and stepped up my game during COVID to be sure our service members who were placed in lock down were still provided for even while battling triple Negative Breast Cancer myself in the heart of a pandemic. When I lost my dad in 2019 I suddenly had 125 fathers in the medical facility that I needed to take care of. That is what drives me.
